Gravelines is part of the Dunkirk urban Community which is located in the  heart of North-West Europe, near the French-Belgian border. It is composed by 20 towns and 210 000 inhabitants.
The city of Gravelines has a population of 12 000 inhabitants and has already been elected « The most sporty city in France » (In category less than 15 000 inhabitants). Indeed, there are more than 5000 people who own a sport license in Gravelines!
Nature, Culture or adventure? Gravelines offers a blend of feelings and colors. From historic sites to natural resources, its heritage can be discovered all along the walled town and its maritime history.
Gravelines has also a strong sport culture, especially through its basket ball team called BCM and its rowing club based at the huge PAarc des Rives de l’Aa.
